The trustees selected Jim VanNest to be chair in January and  Jacquie Bothman to be secretary. Although Jacquie is no longer a trustee she is a volunteer trustee, as is Grace Holbrook, who will continue to coordinate the SWPCC. New trustees are Lori Hedgecock and Bob Bothman.                  

Thanks to Grace, for chairing the trustees in 2007, Jacquie, Edna, and Mark who are leaving the trustees. With less members the trustees hope to recruit volunteer trustees to assume some of the responsibilities of caring for the facilities.

Excellent cooperation between the church and the SWPCC continues. A list of minor items were handled in January.

The trustees replace light bulbs every month in the EXIT lights, test the fire alarm, and check the fire extinguishers which were all taken in and inspected in December. The SWPCC painted the two lower restrooms in the Fellowship Hall during Christmas break and they look great. Clark and Jim replaced the old lighting in all the classrooms in the Fellowship Hall in providing much better lighting and improved energy efficiency,
